A computer vision library is a collection of software routines that help a programmer or vision scientist to easily implement the programs and systems required for his/her application. There are many libraries available, some of them under commercial licenses, others under Open Source licenses.

A large list of available libraries can be found on the Computer Vision Homepage [1].
